My name is John Almquist and I’m the trapper behind Dakota Prairie. I am based in Watertown, S.D., and have been trapping for more than 60 years. Several years ago I began making my own baits and lures and having good success with them I decided to create something I could share with other trappers. That’s how Dakota Prairie came about. I pride myself on good quality products that trappers can depend on.
